School Council

The school council is composed of several members who represent St. Matthew Catholic School, including parents, teachers, and school administration. The objective of the school council is through the active participation of parents to improve student achievement, provide a parent voice and increase accountability of the education system.

The school council duties include discussions about school budget, curriculum, school calendar, the code of conduct, the priorities of the school curriculum, the mission of school, safety, special projects, fundraising and support of school extra-curricular activities.


School Council meetings are once a month starting at 6:00 p.m.

Our first School Council meeting will be September 6th, following the Meet the Staff Evening.
